China’s National Carbon Market Slips 1.75% on the Week; CEA Range CNY 80.50–82.50/t

China’s national carbon emission allowance (CEA) market traded within a weekly range of CNY 80.50 to CNY 82.50 per tonne in the week ended approximately 13 June 2026, with the Friday closing price declining 1.75% from the prior week’s close, according to Tanpaifang (碳排放交易网), a Chinese-language carbon trading information portal.

Trading flowed through two channels. Listed agreement tradingrecorded 791,110 tonnes changing hands for a combined value of approximately CNY 64.6 million. Block agreement tradesaccounted for a larger 1,420,000 tonnes worth approximately CNY 115.5 million. No unilateral auction tradeswere conducted during the period.

In aggregate, total CEA turnover for the week reached 2,211,110 tonnes with a combined transaction value of approximately CNY 180.1 million.
